OBM

Community Edition vs Pro

CE is the real thing, not a demo: unlimited instances, verified backups, retention — free and AGPL-licensed on your own hardware. Pro is for when you want storage, restores and alerting to be our problem instead of yours.

No lock-in, either way

Both editions produce standard Odoo artifacts — a .zip with database plus filestore, or a db-only .dump — restorable with Odoo's own database manager or pg_restore. Leave Pro whenever you like: if a subscription lapses, new backups pause but everything already stored stays downloadable — take it all with you and keep running CE for free.
