Pay for what your backups are worth to you

Backup archives on Pro plans are stored encrypted at rest in Backblaze B2, in the EU region. Transfers between your Odoo server, OBM and storage happen over HTTPS/TLS.

Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period you paid for. After that, new backups pause — but every archive you already have stays stored and stays downloadable, and your account stays open so you can fetch them. We don't run a deletion timer on your data, and we will tell you before anything about your stored backups changes.

Master passwords are encrypted at rest and used for exactly one thing: calling Odoo's own backup and restore API on your behalf. They are never logged and never shown back in plain text.

Always. OBM produces standard Odoo artifacts — a .zip with database plus filestore, or a db-only .dump. On CE you restore via Odoo's own database manager; on Pro plans a restore back into any of your instances is one click, and Growth adds scheduled restore drills.

No. OBM works with self-hosted / on-premise Odoo you operate yourself. Odoo.sh and Odoo Online don't expose the endpoints OBM uses — they have their own built-in backup mechanisms. The normal path needs the database manager enabled (list_db = True); if yours is hardened with list_db = False, the Agency plan can back it up over SSH with pg_dump instead.

Plan limits are hard caps, not metered overage — there is no per-database or per-GB surcharge, so a busy month can never produce a surprise invoice. OBM warns you as you approach a limit. At the database cap, adding another database is refused; past the storage cap (with a small margin above it) new backups stop until you delete some archives or upgrade. Backups you already have are never touched, throttled or deleted — only new work is blocked.

All payments are handled by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle calculates and remits VAT/sales tax for your country and issues a compliant invoice for every charge, available from your receipts.

No — and right now you can't even reach a card. Pro is invite-only while we finish EU object storage and billing; beta accounts run the full Growth plan free. Once we open, every new account gets a 14-day Growth trial with no card required, and nothing is charged automatically when it ends.
